Keeping Score Where It Really Counts
What if life isn't about getting ahead, but about outdoing each other in love? We keep scorecards in life—tracking our bank accounts, job titles, social media likes, and achievements. But while the world measures success by wealth and status, God keeps score of how we love.
In this message we explore a radical idea from Romans 12:10: "Outdo one another in showing honor." Imagine if we competed to be MORE kind, MORE forgiving, MORE generous. Love isn't a scarce commodity—it multiplies when you give it away. The more you pour out, the more comes back to you.
Here's the truth: You can have a full resume and an empty soul. You can look successful on the outside but feel like a failure on the inside. But when we start keeping score God's way everything changes. When the game of life is over, it all goes back in the box. God won't ask how many trophies you collected or arguments you won. He'll ask: How well did you love? If you want to know how you're really doing in life, don't look at your net worth. Look at the richness of your relationships. Because love is the only thing that lasts.
