What if God is more present in your everyday life than you realize?

This Sunday, we continue our Learning to Pray series with “Learning to Pay Attention.” Through the story of Jacob in Genesis 28, we’ll explore one of the most important dimensions of prayer: learning to notice the God who is already present.

We often rush through ordinary life, distracted by what’s next—emails, errands, responsibilities, and endless notifications. But Jacob wakes from an ordinary night and realizes, “Surely the LORD is in this place—and I did not know it.”

Prayer can teach us to see differently—to recognize grace in ordinary moments, pay closer attention to the people around us, and discover God’s presence in places we might otherwise overlook.
