Choosing Peace in a World of Fear

Advent begins this Sunday and we start a new message series called "Waking to God's Dream." Every week, we’ll look at a powerful vision from the prophets—pictures of the world as God intends it to be: a world filled with peace, hope, joy, and love. Not someday… but beginning in us, right now.

This week we start with Peace: Peacemaking in a World of Fear. The prophet Isaiah paints a breathtaking picture of God’s dream for humanity—swords turned into plowshares, fear giving way to trust, and people walking in the light of the Lord. In a world like ours, that’s a vision we desperately need.

Join us as we explore what it means to live for God’s kingdom in the middle of a divided and anxious world. Let’s begin Advent like children—eyes wide, hearts open—ready to imagine a better world and take our first small steps toward it.
